So Much to Do, So Little Time!

Oh My GOD!!! Can't believe all the ends that need to be tied... all those things you kept saying you'd do LATER... well, later is NOW - Time's Up - Finito! We're now 2 days past our estimated lift-off date, and I think tomorrow is do-able... maybe. Not too bad overall! Darin + I were laughing about it the other day and just said that it's good we didn't have a plane ticket booked to FLY out! Speaking of which, we just booked our flights last week on Orbitz - So Cheap! The flight from NY to Barcelona was only $250 and Amsterdam to New Delhi was $427. Can you believe it?!

I think we were able to throw away or donate maybe 1/3 of our stuff, and with putting our best furniture in my parent's garage (to get home-owner's coverage), and a few other odds + ends at some friend's, we were able to pare down to only a 10x10! YEAH!!! A big FYI to anyone ever looking to store stuff long-term - Go to the Central Valley (Stockton/Lodi) where space is 1/2 - 2/3 cheaper than anywhere we checked in the Bay Area.

Darin's putting the final touches on our mobile home-away-from-home. It should keep us nice and cozy the next couple months as we travel cross country. Next post coming to you from the road...
